Healthy Recipes - Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus March 19 2015
It's a savory, springtime side dish that packs a punch of much-needed nutrients, anti-aging advantages and flavorsome fiber! Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus - tasty goodness in a pretty package!
What You'll Need:
* 1 bunch of thin-to-medium sized Asparagus Spears - approximately 24 to 32 spears per bunch
* 1/4 lb - approximately 8 slices - of thinly-sliced Prosciutto
* 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
* Salt and Pepper to taste
What You'll Do:
* Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
* Rinse - and dry - the asparagus spears; separate them into bunches of 3 to 4 spears apiece
* Wrap each asparagus bunch with a slice of prosciutto into a tasty package
* Place bunches in a baking pan. Top with the olive oil, salt and pepper
* Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until prosciutto is crispy and asparagus is tender
* Enjoy!
